History
History
The word "chocolate" comes from the Spanish mispronunciation of the Aztec xocolātl, meaning "bitter water." The Mayans were the first to cultivate the cacao tree, Theobroma cacao, theos meaning god, and broma, meaning food. They believed chocolate was a gift to humanity from Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent god, consuming cocoa in a hot drink of water, vanilla, and hot pepper. Our lip balm adds a hint of cinnamon and cardamom to their divine recipe. A second coming!
I bought my first Balm of the Gods - Lip Balm - while I was visiting NH at the Mt. Washington Cog Railway. I was so happy to see that I can order this online because I live in South Carolina - I bought a few more online so I can keep one in my purse, one at work and one in my backpack while hiking - love this product!

First time user. This product is great ! I usually use Madgascar Vanilla which I can’t live without. These products are so pure and natural. And they work.
Amen! We hope you enjoy real Vanilla, not that cupcake-y 'flavor' that, oddly enough, smells and tastes nothing like vanilla.

My daughter gave me a tube of the Balm of the Gods awhile ago and i stashed it away, just found it and started to use it. I placed an order for both Balm of the Gods and the Vanilla Balm asap. I now love them both. Any new lip balms coming out in the future? Thanks so much for such great products. I'm sorry I didn't find it sooner! Laura

This is my absolute favorite lip balm of all time. I found a stick in Big Lots and searched everywhere until I finally decided to try the website. There's no other smell like this ANYWHERE. I describe it as warm maple hazelnut oatmeal with chocolate lol. Leaves my lips feeling great, but I continuously apply it throughout the day just to smell it. It smells so good that I ordered a load of honey fron the site too!

The skin and lip balms are great. Good luck finding better quality or pricing anywhere else. The skin balm works so good, my 5 yr old nephew has started using it for his eczema and results have been good. I will never use another lip balm. Thanks Drew's Honeybees.

All three of my daughters asked for the lip balm for Christmas. They love the lemon ginger and coffee best, though they like all of the flavors. I am enjoying the newest one - balm of the gods. I feel good knowing that the ingredients on the lips of my daughters are safe and all natural.
